Is Gauguin's Tribute to Vincent Van Gogh Worth £10 Million?

Gauguin's 'Nature morte à L'Espérance' was created in 1901 while he was living in Tahiti and is going on sale in Christie's in London on February 9th of this year.  The piece is expected to sell for £10 Million.

The painting is said to represent the sometimes turbulent friendship that Gauguin had with Vincent Van Gogh.  Van Gogh and Gauguin even lived together for a couple of months, as documented in the brilliant film Lust for Life: A Film by Vincente Minnelli (1956).
